Our company undertook the project as a subcontractor for Lydakis Construction, focusing on the restoration of corrosion on the metal truss of the western roof of the Pancretan Stadium and its recladding with new trapezoidal metal sheets.

The main tasks performed included:

• 500-bar hydroblasting across the entire framework
• Use of air chisels to remove corrosion
• Painting using the airless method

The biggest challenge of the project was performing the work with rope access techniques on a highly complex structural framework, combined with the particularly demanding weather conditions on the northern, coastal side of the island.
