Our company undertook and executed structural restoration and retrofitting works at the building of the 3rd Primary School of Corinth. This was part of a project aimed at upgrading the load-bearing capacity and durability of the structure, in accordance with modern safety and structural adequacy requirements, with IONAS ATE serving as the project contractor.

The works included the application of specialized strengthening techniques and advanced materials, such as:

• Installation of hybrid anodes for reinforcement protection and the mitigation of corrosion phenomena.
• Application of shotcrete (Gunite) for the restoration and strengthening of structural elements.
• Strengthening of selected elements of the load-bearing structure using carbon fiber fabrics (FRP – Fiber Reinforced Polymers) to increase the strength and seismic performance of the structure.
