In collaboration with the 13th Ephorate of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Antiquities, our company undertook the removal from the stone walls of the Venetian castle of one of Mr. Kostas Tsoklis’ artworks—specifically, the mirror-covered cross.
The challenge of the task lay in the fact that the cross (15 m in height) weighed at least 1 ton, as it had a metal and wooden framework, was covered with mirrors, and could not be cut into smaller pieces.
