AGET Heracles – Linoperamata: Strengthening the Structural Integrity at the Joints of a Metal Bridge
On a metal ship-loading platform at AGET Heracles in Heraklion, our company undertook:
- Replacement of joints in the framework that had suffered severe corrosion,
- Reinforcement of the structural integrity of joints that did not require replacement,
- Maintenance of sound joints in the framework.
The work involved oxy-cutting to remove the existing joints, arc welding to install new metal components, and sandblasting and painting of the remaining healthy joints.
