Pancretan and Panachaiko Stadiums: Structural Integrity Inspections of the Metal Framework of the Stadium Roofs
Our ability to access hard-to-reach areas using rope access techniques, combined with our professional expertise as civil engineers, was applied in the structural integrity inspection of the metal roofs at the Pancretan and Panachaiko stadiums.
For the inspection of the trusses, the following NDT methods were used:
- Ultrasonic testing for sampling the thickness of metal sections at critical points of the structure,
- Penetrant liquids for inspecting welds,
- A torque wrench for checking the tightness of bolts.
